Our Trading name was derived from the three founding members first names, Brian Steve Barry. Hence BSB Brushes & Signs was formed in March 1988. The Company started out in a small factory unit in Seven Hills NSW where we manufactured gutter brooms, gutter broom wire and temporary road safety signs. We quickly became the largest timber top gutter broom manufacturer in Australia.
In 1989, we purchased our first Strip Brush Machine which enabled us to manufacture a larger variety of brooms and brushes to service the street sweeping industries.
We quickly outgrew the rented premises at Seven Hills and in 1999 we purchased a much larger freestanding factory at Emu Plains NSW.
Looking to the future it was decided to diversify our product range and in 1999 we became the spare parts distributor in NSW and the ACT for Schwarze Australia. We have increased our range to now include spare parts to suit Bucher (Macdonald Johnston) and Scarab street sweepers.
In 2017, we became Littergrabber’s dealer in NSW and Victoria. We now have access to a comprehensive range of Litter Clearance Hand Tools and Systems which are highly regarded worldwide.
In 2019, BSB Brushes & Signs were nominated and approved by Local Government Procurement (LGP) as a preferred supplier of Non Standard Signage and Associated Hardware and Accessories.
